Hi, my name is Carolyn B. Batts, and I am trying to raise some money to pay my light bill here in Durham, NC. My son and I are both on daily insulin meds and use a CPAP for sleep apnea. Our light bill got so high after I couldn't pay the amount of the installment payment with Duke Energy. Now the bill is $1300.00.

We have been without lights since May 12th, we have lost all our food, and we keep our insulin in a cooler with ice. Please, if anyone can help us, I would appreciate it very much. Keep us in prayer as we keep you in ours. My son just had major surgery last year for a new kidney, and I don't want to lose him to kidney failure.
