Hello everyone,
My name is Carol, and I’m reaching out with a very personal and humble request. I am a disabled female veteran, and after being away from home for more than 40 years, I am trying to move back to be closer to my family. Life has taken me far from the people I love, and as time has passed, that distance has become increasingly difficult, especially now.
My medical conditions have become more serious, and I truly need the support, care, and comfort that only being close to family can provide. At this stage in my life, being surrounded by loved ones and familiarity isn’t just a want, it’s a necessity for my health and well-being.
While this move means everything to me, the financial burden has become overwhelming. Relocation costs, deposits, transportation, and the expenses of getting re-established back home are more than I can manage on my own. Asking for help is not easy, but I’m doing so with hope and humility.
If you are able to donate, share my story, or even keep me in your prayers, I would be deeply grateful. Every act of kindness brings me one step closer to finally coming home after four decades away.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you are able to give.
With love and gratitude,
Carol
