Life has a way of turning even the strongest among us into those in need of help. Today, I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Carol, a woman who has spent her life caring for others—now facing a battle she cannot fight alone.

Carol has recently been diagnosed with metastatic cancer, and as the disease progresses, she is unable to care for herself. She urgently needs nursing care and daily assistance, but the financial burden is immense. Every donation made will go directly toward providing immediately necessary nursing care, along with any other needs she faces during this difficult time.

Carol has always been the one to show up for others. She has been a caregiver to her aging parents, a devoted sister and friend, and an educator who shaped and inspired countless lives. She has an infectious spirit, a fierce loyalty to those she loves, and a heart that has always prioritized the well-being of others. And if you know Carol, you also know about her deep love for animals, especially her beloved furbaby.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for her. Cancer has taken away so much, but we can help ensure she has the care, comfort, and dignity she deserves.
