Support Caroline's Stroke Recovery Journey
Donation protected

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
My younger sister, Caroline, is a vibrant, loving 30-year-old single mother to her sweet 7-year-old daughter, Daphne. Life was moving along as usual — she had just finished her Associate’s degree and was studying for exams towards her Bachelor’s degree, spent all her spare time with Daphne, and swam at the YMCA multiple times a week — that is, until a devastating ischemic stroke turned their world upside down.
The stroke has left Caroline with aphasia, affecting her ability to speak, read, and write.
She faces a challenging recovery. She will have to learn how to express herself again while trying to rebuild her life.
Caroline is a devoted mom who always puts Daphne first, but now she needs help herself. Medical bills are piling up, and the costs of ongoing therapy, specialists, and childcare while she heals are overwhelming. She’ll need months—possibly years—of speech therapy, occupational therapy, and other rehabilitation services to regain as much independence as possible.
Funds raised will go directly toward:
- Medical expenses: hospital bills, therapy sessions, and medications
- Childcare: ensuring Daphne has consistent care while Caroline heals
- Living costs: rent, utilities, and essentials while Caroline is unable to work
Caroline has always been a fighter, and with the right support, we know she can overcome these obstacles. Your generosity will not only aid her recovery but also provide stability for Daphne during this challenging time.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word. We are endlessly grateful for your kindness, thoughts, and prayers.
Thank you for being part of Caroline’s support team.
With gratitude,
Caroline’s Family
