Support Caroline's Emergency Relocation

Greetings,

I am raising money because I need to move ASAP. On January 23, 2025 I was assaulted by my next door neighbor. Now I urgently need to move.

On January 23, 2025, I came home and there was a white SUV parked in my assigned spot. I waited patiently for them to move. They pulled out and they drove up a little. I pulled into my spot and then I got out of my car and I said “Please don’t park in my spot.” Next thing I know an argument breaks out between me and my neighbor’s youngest daughter. I was trying my best to not engage in an argument with a 19 year old. Before the situation turned ugly two guys came and stopped the argument, then I turned around to walk back to my car. Next thing I know, the older sister comes out the house with a long pole. I was paying her no mind as I was trying to reach into the back seat of my car to gather my belongings. The girl with the pole, came up behind me yelling while I was reaching into the backseat. When I stood up and turned around she was right behind me and I was trapped in the little cut between the door and the car. She was yelling in my face, her mother was behind her yelling and the little sister was yelling and screaming on the side. I was trapped there was nothing that I could do. Then the older sister reached for my hair and pulled my wig off, then proceeded to hit me in the head with the pole multiple times. I don’t remember how the fight broke up. All I know is when I went into the house I called the police. I am pressing charges; I have a protection order; I went to the emergency room and was given a CT scan. I was diagnosed with a hematoma. A few days later I went back to urgent care with a splitting headache and pain in my right eye. I had another CT scan and I was diagnosed with a concussion and optical neuropathy.

I have had problems with these neighbors in the past and it’s always over my parking space. I enclosed a picture of how they parked their truck and left it like this for over a month. I told the leasing office and they said that they couldn’t do anything because the tire was not over the line. The way they parked would upset anyone. This made it hard for me to park for weeks it also made it hard for my kids to get in and out of the car on the passenger side. This is just one example. There have been other incidents between me and this neighbor.

I need to move ASAP. I spoke to my property manager and they will let me out of my lease with no repercussions. However, they are not able to help with the moving expense.

Moving was the furthest thing from my mind, and I am not prepared to move at all. I am literally not prepared to move on such short notice. But I have to move ASAP. Any amount that you can afford to donate will be greatly appreciated. This is an EMERGENCY
