Support Caroline & Peter

Caroline and Peter's son Cole Rainier Singletary-Lambert was born on Saturday, January 4 at 4:19am. During birth Caroline suffered a life-threatening uterine rupture. She spent three days in the ICU in Athens while Cole was immediately transported to Northside Hospital in Atlanta.

Cole sustained a traumatic brain injury at birth and passed away peacefully in the arms of his mother early in the morning of January 10. He was the wriggliest baby in utero and unsurprisingly had Gram's chin, just like every one of her great-grandchildren.

Caroline and Peter are so grateful to their amazing family and friends for their support, to the doctors who saved Caroline's life, and to their fantastic nurses including Phil and Emma at Piedmont Athens and Stephanie, Emily, and Jordan at the Northside NICU.
