Support Carolina's Aunt in Her Cancer Battle

Hola, mi nombre es Carolina.

Me dirijo a ustedes con el corazón en la mano para compartir que mi tía, quien vive en Colombia, ha sido diagnosticada con cáncer en el duodeno. Ha estado hospitalizada por casi dos meses y durante este tiempo no ha podido alimentarse. La masa cancerosa está bloqueando el paso al estómago, impidiéndole recibir nutrición.

Los médicos intentaron realizar una cirugía para crear un puente que le permitiera alimentarse, pero lamentablemente no fue exitosa. En Colombia, los pacientes en estado crítico deben tener un acompañante o cuidador de tiempo completo en el hospital. Aunque tenemos una familia numerosa, todos trabajamos tiempo completo, y en este momento necesitamos con urgencia apoyo económico para cubrir el costo del cuidador, así como otras necesidades médicas.

Para quienes me conocen, esta es la hermana de mi mamá — una tía increíblemente amorosa y bondadosa que siempre ha estado para nosotros. No es fácil para mí pedir ayuda, pero estamos haciendo todo lo posible para apoyarla. Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, será profundamente agradecida. Incluso el más mínimo aporte puede hacer una gran diferencia.

Siento en mi corazón que Dios me ha puesto este llamado, y con Su gracia y la generosidad de ustedes, confío en que podremos brindarle el apoyo que necesita en este momento tan difícil.

Hello, my name is Carolina.

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share that my aunt in Colombia has been diagnosed with cancer in the duodenum. She has been hospitalized for almost two months and has been unable to eat during this time. The cancerous mass is blocking her stomach, preventing her from receiving any nutrition.

Doctors attempted surgery to create a bypass so she could eat, but unfortunately, it was not successful. In Colombia, patients in critical condition require a full-time companion or caregiver to stay with them at all times in the hospital. Although we have a large family, everyone works full-time, and we are in urgent need of financial support to cover the cost of the caregiver as well as other medical needs.

For those who know me, this is my mother’s sister — an incredibly kind and loving aunt who has always been there for our family. It is not easy for me to ask, but we are doing everything we can to help her. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much. Even the smallest gift can make a difference.

I truly believe God placed this in my heart, and with His grace and your generosity, we will be able to support her during this difficult time.
