As many of you know, I am a first-time mom, and there’s a saying that babies bring many blessings, and mine certainly has. But as life and God often do, challenges are thrown our way to help us grow stronger and prepare us for something even greater. I know everyone has their own struggles, and today, I’m reaching out to see if anyone can help with a small donation. Even $1 (just a tiny seed, can grow into a beautiful flower and help create a thriving garden). It doesn’t hurt to ask, right?

Currently, I need to undergo surgery to remove my gallbladder, and I need to do it ASAP. I discovered I had gallstones during a sonogram at six months pregnant, enough to catch the doctor’s eye. At first, the symptoms were mild & similar to pregnancy symptoms, so I dismissed them, but now the pain is sometimes unbearable, and the stones are worsening every day. It’s making my daily duties as a mom more and more difficult.

On top of that, my mom needs cataract surgery before she risks losing her sight altogether. I want to be there for her, just as she’s been there for me, once she has the funds (around $2230) for her procedure, not including all the medication they prescribe & follow ups.

I’ve gotten a quote from a state hospital, which is the most affordable option where I live. Approximately $1500, but if there are any concerns or complications and need extra days/tests about $1950. There’s also a public hospital, but the waitlist is thousands long, and tragically, there have been many cases where patients have died during or right after surgery because the necessary equipment wasn’t available, yet they still moved forward. I’ve included a couple of recent cases in the pictures. Feel free to look them up; it’s heartbreaking.

This isn’t just about me. If it was me alone, I’d tough it out and take my chances. But I have a son now, and I need to be around for him. Plus, my previous job went bankrupt, so things have been tough all around. I truly believe that even in difficult times, God’s plan is to prepare me for something greater.

Pero como la vida y Dios a menudo hacen, los desafíos se lanzan a nuestro camino para ayudarnos a crecer más fuertes y prepararnos para algo aún más grande. Sé que cada uno de ustedes tiene sus propias luchas, y hoy, me estoy acercando para ver si alguien puede ayudar con una pequeña donación. Actualmente, necesito someterme a una cirugía para extirparme la vesícula biliar, y tengo que hacerlo cuanto antes.
