Help me in my FIGHT against Cancer, my boys need me strong!

My name is Angly Carolina Gamboa. I came to the US in 2013 after being persecuted in my country for being against the government. I stayed home and raised my kids while my ex-husband worked, but after a few years of a loveless and abusive marriage, I took a pause and reflected on what was best despite knowing it was going to be difficult, and became a single mom. I started from scratch for second time in my life, just me and my boys against the world. We became a team and bonded like never before. They are the source of my strength.

But at the end of May 2024, I was diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer stage IV, and our life has drastically changed. All of my family is in Venezuela, my parents suffer in silence because they can’t come to support me, and it has been a very lonely and rough path. But I will always keep going for Lucas and Mateo. They are my whole world and I need to be healthy to keep raising them and see them growing.
