Support Carolina Agan's Family in Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
On November 13, 2024, Carolina Agan, a beloved mother, friend, and advocate for justice, passed away suddenly, leaving behind two beautiful children, ages 7 and 9, and their father and co-parent, Koran Agan. Her loss has left her family and loved ones reeling as they navigate life without her vibrant presence.
Carolina’s journey was one of courage and determination. Born in Medellín, Colombia, she came to the United States in 2007 with a dream of building a meaningful life for herself and her future family. With resilience and humor, she overcame immense challenges, becoming a U.S. citizen and dedicating her life to helping others.
Carolina’s recent work as a paralegal and interpreter at our small law firm demonstrated her passion for justice as she fought tirelessly for victims of police misconduct. Throughout her career, whether restoring photographic archives, translating books, or organizing for justice and equity, she brought dedication, kindness, and a fierce belief in the power of community.
Her greatest joy and pride, however, were her children, whom she raised with unconditional love and the values of perseverance, compassion, and courage.
In this time of unimaginable loss, we are asking for your support to honor Carolina’s legacy and ensure her family has the resources they need. Funds raised will go toward:
- Funeral and memorial expenses to give Carolina the farewell she deserves.
- Immediate support for her children, including counseling, education, and other essential needs.
- Assistance for Koran Agan, her co-parent, as he adjusts to raising their children without her by his side.
Your contributions, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden on Carolina’s family and ensure her children can continue to thrive in the loving, supportive environment she worked so hard to create.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping us celebrate Carolina’s incredible life and legacy.
Please consider sharing this campaign to spread the word. Every bit of support makes a difference.
