Hi everyone, this is Carola Gelatka. She is an equine 4H club leader and has been giving horse riding lessons for over 30 years. She has done so much for so many people. Changing their lives along the way. She loves her horses and kids, and absolutely loves what she does. She has always been the one to lend a helping hand and be there for anyone who needed it. And right now, she is the one in need of a helping hand. On January 15th, 2026, Carola was involved in an accident with one of the new horses boarded at Sky-T stables. She was putting this horses blanket on when the horse got spooked and turned and kicked her. She got kicked in the shoulder and hit her head on the wall of the horses stall. She was knocked unconscious and was taken to the er by ambulance. She has multiple broken ribs and has already undergone surgery. We’re asking anyone and everyone to help us band together and help carola out. It’s our turn to be there for her. Per her doctor, she will be out of work and giving any lessons for about 8 weeks. As we all know, caring for horses is expensive, and on top of all the doctors bills, she will also have to be undergoing physical therapy, and all her other normal bills as well, so any donations would be greatly appreciated. This is going to be an incredibly tough time for her and we are trying to help ease her mind a bit. If anyone has even a few dollars to donate to Carola, it would be so appreciated, every little bit helps. We all want Carola back on her feet as soon as possible, and can’t wait for her to recover and be back at the barn. Thank you.
