On Friday Nov 1, Carol Merritt was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Like 20% of those diagnosed with this horrible disease, Carol was never a smoker and always put her health front and center. Carol is a fiercely devoted mother to her two sons, Ben and Matt, and a dedicated friend to all who have the good fortune to know her. Her husband, Greg, is heartbroken as Carol is the love of his life. He has and will remain by her side as we all learn about her upcoming plans for treatment.
