Hello friends, family, and community,
I’m Carol, the founder of Hit-the-Web Marketing. For years, I’ve poured my heart into helping construction companies, eCommerce shops, and local small businesses grow online. I believe every hardworking business deserves to have a clear, predictable, and reliable way to attract customers — and that’s been my mission.
But right now, my own business is at risk.
I’m facing overwhelming bills and expenses that I simply can’t keep up with on my own. I’ve been doing everything possible — substitute teaching, consulting, and freelancing — but it’s not enough to cover both my personal obligations and the marketing dollars needed to keep Hit-the-Web running.
Without urgent help, I risk losing the business I’ve worked so hard to build.
What Happened
This past year, I was told I had to leave my apartment. Rent in my area skyrocketed from $1,400 to $2,250 a month — a 60% increase.
It took six difficult months to find a new place and move. That transition ate up not only my savings, but also valuable time I would have spent building my business.
On top of that, my cat Maggie became sick and needed urgent vet care. She’s family to me, and while I don’t regret making sure she was treated, it pulled more money away from my business.
Between moving, higher housing costs, and vet bills, my business had to take a back seat. Now I’m working hard to rebuild Hit-the-Web Marketing, and this GoFundMe will help cover marketing costs, overdue bills, and rent so I can get back on track.
Why This Matters
Saving Hit-the-Web isn’t just about me. It’s about the many small businesses, non-profits, and entrepreneurs who rely on my work to:
• Grow their online presence
• Generate consistent sales
• Compete against bigger companies with bigger budgets
I know the difference that good marketing makes — I’ve seen small businesses go from struggling to thriving because of it. But without support, I may lose the very business that helps others grow.
How Your Support Will Be Used
Your support will go directly toward:
1. Marketing for Hit-the-Web Marketing – building visibility, running campaigns, and attracting new clients so the business can stand strong again.
2. Rent support – covering the 60% increase that has drained my resources.
3. Back expenses – catching up on overdue bills (utilities, business tools, basic living costs) that piled up during the six-month housing transition.
4. Stability cushion – creating a small safety net so I don’t fall behind again and can focus fully on helping small businesses grow.
How You Can Help
1. Donate what you can — even $10 makes a difference.
2. Share this campaign with your friends, family, and networks.
3. If you own a business, consider working with me so your support goes both ways.
I’ve always believed in lifting others up, and now I’m humbly asking for help to get through this season. With your support, I can rebuild after this setback and keep Hit-the-Web Marketing alive — not just for me, but for the businesses who count on me.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you.
