Hello, my name is Dana, and my daughter Carmen has taken this sweet cat under her wing when she noticed it was injured. It was a stray, and it was coming around her house for food, so she started feeding it when she noticed how badly it was injured. She tried taking this injured cat to a shelter for help, but all they suggested was putting it down. Well, my daughter wasn't having that, the pet lover she is, and looked for other assistance to help this cat, but for some reason, not a single shelter or pet organization would do anything for it. The vet she has taken it to is at least allowing her to make payments and still treat the cat. Now she is a college student and is doing everything in her power to save this cat. It has already had one surgery that was $2,300.00, and sorry to say, the cat did not respond well and is now getting its leg amputated, which is another at least $2,000.00 bill. Just looking to see if there are any pet lovers that understand what a huge heart my daughter has and are willing to donate to the fund to keep this cat alive. She has taken on a lot but is willing to see it through no matter what. I am very proud of this young lady, but again she is a college student, and this is a huge expense. I don't understand why there is no help offered for injured animals and the only help is putting them down. Please, if you can give any, it would help more than you know.

Thank you and Happy Holidays
