Hello, my name is Aubrey Robbins, and I’m reaching out to ask for your support for my roommate and dear friend, Carmen Johnson.

Recently, Carmen suffered a serious hand injury when she accidentally cut her finger on a knife, severing a tendon. She now faces surgery followed by a lengthy recovery of 3–6 months, during which she will be unable to work.

Carmen is a dedicated massage therapist and small business owner- her hands are essential to both her livelihood and her calling. Because she is self-employed, she does not qualify for unemployment benefits and will have no income during her recovery.

This sudden injury has created an overwhelming and unexpected financial strain.

We are humbly asking for donations to help cover basic living expenses, medical bills, and recovery support, so Carmen can focus on healing without the constant weight of financial stress.

Carmen is someone who consistently shows up for others with generosity, compassion, and care. She has worked tirelessly to build her healing practice and support her family, and now her friends and community are coming together to support her during this challenging season.
