Support Carmen's Daughter's Recovery & finding a house!

Hello, my name is Carmen and I am the mother of the 14-year-old that was shot in cold blood on Mother’s Day, which was also her sister‘s birthday. She was staying the night at her friend's when all of a sudden, at 1 AM, I received the worst phone call of my life that my child has been shot. I did not know whether she was alive or dead. I arrived at the hospital only to be sitting for three hours with no word on my daughter’s condition. She was shot twice at point-blank range in the doorway. She was never supposed to be going through some kind of tragedy like this.

She needs surgery to remove the bullet from her hip. She also has a quarter-size hole in her pelvis. We are at home so we are staying in a motel that is not the best and not up to standards. I have 3 beautiful daughters and we are all placed in a DSS motel. Cecelia will need surgery soon to remove the bullet from her hip!

We have just lost everything we owned and were quickly moved from our home! Please, if the community could find it in their heart to donate anything, even $1.50, we will be greatly appreciative. We just want to have a home to start our healing journey as we have nothing right now.
