I am reaching out for my good friend Carmela and her family.

Carmela was diagnosed with colon cancer a few years ago and is currently in remission. She goes every 3 months for follow-ups. Then, tumors were found in her breasts, and she recently underwent a double mastectomy. She will be unable to work for at least 12 weeks.

Her husband, Joe, is off work as well, taking care of her during her recovery—changing out gauze, drains, bandages, whatever is needed of him.

The money raised will go a long way to help the family pay bills, get groceries, and help pay for their kids' needs while income is not there.
