Support Carly's Journey to Improve Her Quality of Life

My name is Carly. I am 50 years old. I have two daughters. Seven years ago I had four massive strokes. I had to learn to talk, walk, and think again. About a year after my strokes my teeth started to deteriorate. Then they started to break off and fall out. I am down to just two healthy teeth on top and about 6 on the bottom. It’s humiliating. I don’t smile, I can’t eat, I am in tremendous pain, and my quality of life is low. I am struggling to find a job. I am so embarrassed and so sad. I have got estimates for all on 4 implants. For my top teeth only, it would cost $22,000. I gave up. That’s just not realistic. Then today I went to my dentist and he told me about over dentures. For $15,000, I could have all my teeth removed and get a few implants so the over dentures would snap in place…and I could have it done in just six weeks! This gives me hope for the first time. I am really ashamed, mortified to start this for myself and even more embarrassed to share a photo, but I’m out of options. God bless.
