February 22 changed Carly’s life forever. Her baby boy arrived a month early and is healthy and strong. What should have been a routine C-section turned into a devastating complication. Carly suffered a bowel perforation that went unnoticed, leading to a severe infection and multiple emergency surgeries.

She has now been hospitalized for three weeks, with more time possible as doctors work to control the infection. Instead of being home bonding with her newborn, Carly is fighting to heal.
