In late June of 2025, I found a lump in my right breast that changed everything. After a mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy, I was diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS), an early form of breast cancer, along with Atypical Ductal Hyperplasia (ADH), a precancerous condition. Following consultations with my doctors and surgeon, it was determined that the best course of action is a double masectomy, followed by reconstructive surgery, which will be done in two separate procedures.

This diagnosis has been overwhelming and life-changing, but I am doing my best to stay strong and positive. Unfortunately, the financial burden is significant. Funds raised will go towards covering my out-of-pocket medical expenses, the cost of the time away from working during recovery, and the reconstructive surgeries ahead.
