Support Carly After Losing Her Parents

**In Loving Memory of Alfred & Catherine Chabot - Support for Their Beloved Daughter Carly**

This past year, Carly's world was shattered not once, but twice by the loss of life of her parents.

Most recently, on January 28th, 2025, Carly's father Al lost his life to a sudden intestine illness. Al was a devoted husband and father. He was friendly with everyone he met and lived to make others happy. He served in Vietnam, worked for CT DOT for 18 years and upon retirement served his community by volunteering for parks & rec, becoming a Eucharistic minister, joining the Knights of Columbus and sponsoring someone in recovery. His presence is dearly missed by those who knew him.

On January 2, 2024, Carly's mother Cathy lost her life to phenomina leaving a void for Al and Carly that could never be filled. Catherine (Cathy) was the heart of her family. A kind soul, a loving wife to Alfred (Al) and an amazing mother to her pride and joy Carly.

The road ahead will be challenging for Carly as she navigates life without her parents. This GoFundMe will provide a burial for Al, a headstone for Cathy, shelter and heat for Carly while she works to preserve the estate until probate settles and the day-to-day needs she may have until she can get on her own feet.
