Support Carlsbad's Fight for Open Spaces

We're raising money to preserve parks and open space in Carlsbad, in a legal battle to ensure the City of Carlsbad is adhering to Proposition E, passed by the voters as an initiative in 1986 which established a growth management plan (GMP) with respect to parks and open space.

Any donation will make an impact to help North County Advocates continue the "David v Goliath" fight NCA vs. Carlsbad and the constant pressure by large corporate developers from violating facilities standards for traffic circulation, parks and open space.

Since 2009, North County Advocates's mission has been clear:

To preserve and protect the quality-of-life, environment and character of Coastal North County of San Diego, especially La Costa and Encinitas. To expose and oppose the negative impacts of excessive development, increased traffic, increased zoning density, increased intensity of use, pollution (air, water, land or light) or similar detrimental factors whether proposed or initiated by private or public entities.
