I’m reaching out on behalf of a truly kind and humble man — Carl, who is preparing to undergo a life-saving kidney transplant in the coming weeks.

As many of you know, Carl has been quietly battling kidney disease for years. Through it all, he's shown incredible strength, never complaining, continuing to work hard, and always putting others before himself. Now, as he finally gets the chance for a new kidney — and a new lease on life — he faces a difficult few months ahead.

Carl will be out of work for 3 to 4 months as he recovers from the transplant. During this time, he won’t have a steady income, but he’ll still be responsible for everyday expenses — including rent, groceries, utilities, transportation to and from the hospital, and medical costs that aren’t fully covered by insurance.
