In September, my brother, Carl, was diagnosed with pneumonia. But, after two weeks of treatment with antibiotics that didn’t improve his shortness of breath, further imaging revealed something far more serious: cancer, with a tumor in each lung.

Carl is receiving care at the Cleveland Clinic, and the medical bills—along with everyday living expenses—are quickly adding up. Right now, our biggest hope is that he can focus fully on treatment and recovery without the constant stress of how to keep up financially.
