Update 06/04

Carlos says thank you to everyone who has called and texted to check on him and for all the prayers being sent. None of them go unnoticed and he is aware of everyone sending their prayers and thoughts! Thank you so very much and may it return to you all ten fold! ♥️

Carlos will be moving from the icu floor today. He won’t be having his surgeries until Saturday due to all the swelling going on so we’re hoping swelling goes down and he is able to go into surgery!

Hello, as some of you may know. My brother (Carlos) was in a terrible accident early Monday morning. He is currently in the icu stable but has a very long recovery ahead of him. He will be out of work for quite some time while he is in recovery. He is the main income for his family at the moment, if anyone could help them out in anyway it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Update 6/3 - Carlos was sedated Monday all through the night, today the doctors woke him up bright and early and removed his breathing tube. He is aware and talking very softly. He doesn’t remember anything about the accident although he was conscious when he was air lifted and arrived at the hospital. While he does have multiple broken bones, scrapes/cuts and bruising he has no brain trauma which is the most important thing. The major injury is that Carlos broke both legs in the low extremities and shattered his foot. The surgeons were able to align the bones when he arrived and he is due back in surgery soon for a more permanent fix.
