In August 2023, Carlos was diagnosed with colon, liver, and lung cancer. In June 2025, it had spread to his hip bones. These last 2 years, he’s battled silently, doing chemo since he also had a radio frequency ablation recently. He was supposed to start chemo again this month after recovering from the radio frequency ablation; instead, he was in and out of hospitals and came to a point where he was sent home on hospice this October 20th.
