I hate this stuff and I don’t like asking anyone for money for things like this but desperate times ask for desperate measures. If you’ve ever had a taco at Trago or an appetizer at Citrus, Carlos was the guy that cooked the meal and made sure the authentic Mexican recipes were perfect. He was my oldest employee and my chef at all of the places.

We just learned recently some devastating news that he has leukemia after he went into the emergency room not feeling well. He had been in remission for about six years for a for a different kind of cancer and had to have one kidney removed when they found a tumor on his kidney several years ago.

He has young kids who desperately want to see him live a long life. We got him enrolled in a program at UCSD that might save his life but it’s too early to know what this long road will intale.

his family would love to visit him and the travel expenses, etc., are going to be incredible. He’s currently here in California, but his family is still in Seattle.

At this point, all we can do is ask for prayers and support. Thank you all!
