Dear Friends and Family,

I am creating this GoFundMe with hopes of getting Carlos some help in this time of need.

Carlos is a 45-year-old who was born with Spina Bifida. He has faced some of the most difficult health challenges yet has always maintained a positive attitude and a grateful heart through it all. His happiness is contagious, to say the least.

Carlos is now facing significant health challenges with multiple cancers and underlying conditions. He was diagnosed with Colon Cancer, Skin Cancer, Prostate Cancer, and Bone disease. He has already been through radiation, but it was not successful. Carlos will have indefinite chemo as his cancers are not curable.

Medical Support:

Carlos, his dad, and brother have been getting around in the metro buses and Ubers for all of the doctor visits, chemo, and therapies. These visits are a big expense and tiring for Carlos and his 76-year-old dad. They are in desperate need of a car, especially with this heat we get in Texas. If you know of somebody that is selling an affordable cash car, please let us know.

Carlos is also in need of multiple health expenses to ensure he has access to oncology specialists who can explore alternative or adjunct treatment options. Consider a multidisciplinary team approach, including oncologists, pain management, physical therapy, and palliative care if necessary.

Assist with transportation to medical appointments.

Help manage medications and daily needs, considering mobility challenges from Spina Bifida and bone disease.

Explore home care services if mobility or fatigue is an issue.
