Help Carlos Achieve His 100-Mile Marathon Dream

I'm Carlos Rodriguez, a father of 3 beautiful children, and an Army veteran of 8 awesome active duty years. I'm a hardworking member of the United Steel Workers of Local 2958.

I'm also an avid athlete, participating in multiple competitions, always pushing myself to my fullest potential. Always leading by example for my children, peers, and subordinates alike.

“The Keys 100” is a 100-mile Ultra Marathon Run held on May 18, 2025 that starts in Key Largo, Florida, and finishes at mile marker 0 in Key West, Florida. I have 32 hrs to complete the race. Last year, I completed the 50-mile Ultramarathon run starting in Marathon to Key West, running in 104 heat index temperatures, clocking in at 12:21:04, placing 10th overall and 1st in my age group, taking home an awesome trophy.

But more importantly, the lifelong confidence from the experience of pushing my mind beyond my normal limitations.

This year, with your support and my crew, I know we can accomplish this together, bringing home another trophy, this time with a 100-mile plaque on it.

With your contribution, this helps me with my race entry fee, fuel travel expenses, food supplementation, and lodging.

This gives me the opportunity to prove to my kids and everyone at my local YMCA, who has seen me put in long, grueling hours of training each day for this one chance, that through hard work and perseverance, anything can be achieved.
