Support Carlos Munoz's journey to recovery

Hello,

Before I get started, I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Kenneth T., younger brother of Jamila T. I am writing you on behalf of my brother-in-law, Carlos Munoz and his little family. Carlos is a father of two loving children, a provider for his family and most importantly, a warrior.

On November 12, 2024...

Carlos was heading home from his usual commute home when he started to experience excruciating pain in his abdomen. Once checked in the hospital, he was told that the pain is caused by pancreatitis. Then the obstacles of having difficulty with his pain management began.

On November 15 2024...

His care team to requested a CT scan. Due to excruciating pain, Carlos was required to be sedated and intubated for the CT scan. Once the CT scan was performed, the care team was faced with many challenges. His numbers (BP, HR, O2, Hemoglobin, tryglicirides etc.) had irregularities, distention of the abdomen, and many more.

Fast forward to November 21, 2024...

Carlos was granted transportation from OConner Hospital to Stanford Palo Alto for a form of life support called an ECMO.

Today, He is currently still at Stanford Palo Alto undergoing many treatments and observations. We have formed this gofund me account in hopes to help Carlos and his family get back on their feet. Any amount is appreciated and even a prayer and kind words for our Brother-in-law is immensely appreciated.
