Hi, my name is Carlos Montejano and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest moments of my life.
I’ve been running a small box truck business for the past four years. It’s how I’ve supported my wife and our six children. My wife also works hard to help keep things going, but right now—we’re facing a challenge we never expected.
Recently, I was hospitalized due to internal bleeding. My hemoglobin dropped dangerously low. The doctors are still trying to figure out what’s wrong—test after test, but we’re back to square one with no clear answers. Meanwhile, I’m still in the hospital, unable to work.
This has hit our family hard. We depend on both our incomes to make ends meet. Unfortunately, my wife can’t cover everything alone—especially with business expenses like the truck payment, insurance, and loans still coming in.
I’m not one to ask for help, and it’s humbling to do this now. But I don’t want to lose everything we’ve worked so hard to build. I’m asking our community, friends, and even strangers—if you’re able to give even $1, it will help us keep the business alive and our family stable during this health crisis.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, sharing, and supporting. Every little bit helps.
