Hola me llamo Carlos Loaiza, estoy recaudando fondos para mi tratamiento contra el cancer, actualmente me encuentro en Venezuela, soy fotógrafo, hace 8 años fui diagnosticado con melanoma en ojo izquierdo, resuelto quirúrgicamente con enucleacion y actualmente una prótesis con una prótesis ocular que pude adquirir en el momento.

Actualmente en este momento presento melanoma metastasico a hígado, ha sido visto por hepatologo, oncólogo y me he realizado estudios especiales TAC de abdomen y pelvis, biopsia hepática que confirma el diagnóstico, el tratamiento indicado es inmunoterapia que debo cumplir cada 21 días por 6 ciclos aproximadamente, el proceso es a base de una ampolla de IPILIMUMAB ( yervoy) . Ya gracias a Dios logramos poder obtener el primer ciclo ya realizado y lograr la meta para el segundo ciclo.

Hello, my name is Carlos Loaiza. I am raising funds for my cancer treatment. Currently, I am in Venezuela and work as a photographer. Eight years ago, I was diagnosed with melanoma in my left eye, which was surgically resolved with enucleation, and I acquired an ocular prosthesis at that time.

Currently, I am dealing with metastatic melanoma in my liver. I have been seen by a hepatologist and an oncologist, and I have undergone special studies: abdominal and pelvic CT scans and a liver biopsy confirming the diagnosis. The prescribed treatment is immunotherapy, which I must undergo every 21 days for approximately 6 cycles. The process involves an injection of IPILIMUMAB (Yervoy). Thankfully, we have completed the first cycle, and I am aiming to reach the goal for the second cycle.
