Carlos Robledo is a dear friend to many of us in the Woodside community in Sacramento, California. His love for his fur babies, Devin and Dashiel, brought so many of us together at the Woodside Dog Park, where we found comfort, friendship, and a sense of normalcy during the difficult days of the 2020 shutdown. If you’ve spent even a few minutes with Carlos, you know he has a gift for storytelling. Whether he was sharing memories from his travels, recommending his latest favorite restaurant, or explaining where to find the perfect spot for a very generous pour of wine, Carlos always managed to fill the air with laughter.
His quiet wit, sharp eye for fashion and design, and warm spirit quickly made him someone people were drawn to and grateful to call a friend. Anyone who knows Carlos knows that his dogs are not just pets—they are family (and if Devin had a vote, he’d probably say he runs the household).
The funds raised will help cover essential needs during this time, including funeral expenses. We also hope to ensure Devin continues to receive the love and care Carlos would want for him—covering things like veterinary visits, food, and supplies.
Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. If you are unable to give, sharing this page with others is also an incredible act of kindness. Carlos has brought so much joy, laughter, and community into our lives—whether through a walk at the dog park, a great story, or a well-recommended glass of wine. We are deeply grateful for any support you can offer to help him and Devin during this time.
