Support Carlos Damian in his fight battling cancer

Hi, my name is Ann and I am the single mother of Carlos who has been battling cancer for several years. In 2019, Carlos was diagnosed with Leukemia (AML) at the young age of 17. Unknowingly, his diagnosis was life-changing not only for Carlos but for our family as well. Throughout these past four years, Carlos has undergone various procedures such as many rounds of intravenous chemotherapy and radiation, a bone marrow transplant, and most recently two brain surgeries. Despite the circumstances, Carlos has remained positive throughout this difficult journey but is currently facing a third relapse of cancer. Carlos can not work due to his weak condition from his illness. With this being the case, as his supportive mother, I have had to take extended periods of time off of work with no pay to be in the hospital with Carlos and we are now struggling to keep up with bills. Carlos and our family need your support for daily expenses, and expenses for certain medications, treatments, and medical equipment that are not covered by health insurance. For example, Carlos would benefit from a medical bed that can adjust to his daily needs as his chemotherapy treatments are making him weak and are limiting his physical abilities to even get out of bed and manage his day to day life activities. We kindly ask for your help in supporting Carlos to have the best opportunity for treatment in his journey to recovery.
