Carlos Cruz was a Christian believer, a joyful soul, and a loving father who always brought happiness to those around him. Even while battling sickness and undergoing dialysis for 10 years, he never lost his sense of humor or his ability to make others smile. He leaves behind six beautiful children and a wonderful wife, all of whom he cherished deeply. Carlos made a lasting impact on his community, especially within his church, where his faith and kindness touched many lives.
Carlos served in the army in El Salvador from the ages of 14 to 19 before coming to the United States to build a better life for his family. He was hardworking, loved nature and seafood, and found joy in road trips and worship music. His favorite colors were green and army tones, reflecting his vibrant spirit and strength. Above all, Carlos wanted his family to serve God and bring others closer to faith. He was inspiring, intelligent, and always gave his best to everyone he met.
Although Carlos struggled in his sickness, he never gave up on his faith and always believed he would be cured by God. He always had faith, no matter the outcome. Our family is now facing the heartbreaking challenge of saying goodbye to Carlos while also trying to manage funeral costs and urgent bills. With only two daughters in college and my mom working, we are struggling to keep ourselves together. The funds raised will help us cover funeral expenses and, if possible, help us get back on our feet by paying overdue rent and bills that have accumulated during his illness. Any help is appreciated—please share and support if you can. Your kindness will make a world of difference to our family during this difficult time.
