On September 21st, my son, Carlos Regalado, was in a terrible car accident caused by a drunk driver. The truck that hit him was stolen, and the driver ran a red light before crashing into Carlos's truck. After the accident, they fled the scene and still have not been found.

Because the vehicle that caused the accident was stolen, insurance will not cover any of the damages. Most importantly, my son is okay and healthy, but this has left Carlos heartbroken and struggling since his truck, lovingly named "Black Betty," is so much more than just a vehicle to him. It's a 1968 Chevy C10, a classic he's worked hard to care for, and something he takes deep pride in. This truck has been in our family for over 12 years; this is more than a truck to us.

We are asking for any help possible to get Black Betty back up and running. Every donation, big or small, will go directly toward repairs and restoring Betty.
