Hi everyone,

On September 25th, our mom, Carla, was in a serious accident that left her with a major break in her left femur and knee. She faces a long road of recovery ahead and will need to remain completely non-weight-bearing for 8–10 weeks. This means big changes to her daily life, and we are working hard to make accommodations at home to ensure she is safe and comfortable during this time.

If you know Carla, you know how deeply she loves her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. One of her greatest joys is spending time with them. She had also recently begun an adventure of visiting all the Arkansas state parks—her most recent stop being number 23 on her list! Unfortunately, this journey, along with her time spent enjoying family activities, will have to be put on hold until she’s healed.

We are asking for donations of any size to help with transportation, medical needs, home accommodations, and anything else that may come up along the way. Every bit of support means the world to her and to us.
