Support Carla's Leukemia Battle Journey

For the past month Carla hadn't been feeling well. Thinking she just had one of many viruses going around in her 1st grade classroom and community, she just forged through. But, she kept getting worse. On Sunday morning, at the insistence of her husband Corwin, she went to the ER in Bozeman, MT. They did some bloodwork and it was discovered that she has an acute leukemia. She was airlifted to Salt Lake City to the Huntsman Cancer Institute. They have been doing lots of tests and had a bone marrow biopsy, of which they are currently waiting results. At this point she has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The bone marrow biopsy will help to pinpoint the exact type and soon proceed with chemo. These results should be back soon. The family covets all prayers as they have a firm belief in God's healing power and in the power of prayer!! God is so good!! Because her blood is all wonky and she's quite anemic she has very little energy. She doesn't have the strength or energy to text or call everyone, but Corwin and Carla will do their best to keep you informed of this new trial in their lives.
