Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for your help during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Our beloved mother Carla has been placed in home hospice care due to the unexpected diagnosis & very rapid progression of ALS. She has always been a source of love, strength, and life to everyone around her & anyone who’s been blessed to know her know she’s always been full of life and has never missed a chance to dance, laugh, and light up every room with her beautiful light and spirit. Although we are praying everyday for more time or a miraculous recovery, the reality of her diagnosis and current condition indicate we have limited time left with her, so we want to make sure she is surrounded by comfort, dignity, and peace for as long as God allows us to be by her side.

Unfortunately, the costs of hospice care, medical expenses, and end-of-life arrangements have become overwhelming so we have decided to try to raise funds to help cover:

* Hospice care and comfort needs

* Medical bills not covered by insurance

* Travel and time off work for family members to be with & care for her

* Funeral and memorial expenses
