We have created this page to support our friend's Carla and Johnny and their family.

Carla's partner has injured himself in a traumatic accident sustaining serious injuries to both his legs and breaking his ankle, requiring surgery. He needs to be off his feet for 6 weeks minimum for the healing process. This means losing their main source of income (and unfortunately they don't meet the requirements for income compensation).

They live in an isolated location (40mins from town) which makes it hard for friends to stop by and help.

Carla is a birthworker and her work is often demanding and unpredictable. As Johnny requires company 24/7 to meet his needs, they are requiring someone to be at their home while Carla is at work.

And also to be with their two children (8 and 3) who are at home most days of the week.

They imagine that they will need 2 full days of support per week for 4 weeks, from a nanny that can do babysitting, help around the house, basic tidying and cooking.
