Our family is heartbroken to share that on Christmas Eve 2025 our dad, Carl Zinkan, suffered a sudden and major stroke. In a matter of minutes we went from watching Christmas movies and preparing to build gingerbread houses to rushing to call 911 in hopes that our dad would survive. He was quickly rushed to the hospital and required surgery to remove a section of his skull to reduce swelling of his brain. While we are thankful for his life and second chance, we know he and our family are in for a long road ahead.

The stroke has not only affected his physical ability, leaving him completely unable to use his left side, but has also brought on an immense amount of unexpected costs and emotional strain that have severely impacted our family. We are reaching out to our community in hopes that we can afford the costs of his rehabilitation, but anything you can give is so appreciated whether it be a donation, sharing the link, prayers, or some extra kindness and love sent our way.
