Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out during a very challenging time in my life. I was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer, and as I begin this difficult journey, I wanted to share my story and ask for support.

At this time, I am on FMLA, which is unfortunately unpaid. While I was not approved for short-term disability, I do qualify for long-term disability, which will not begin for several weeks. My medical team—including my urologist, oncologist, and other specialists—has developed a treatment plan, and my insurance has approved the necessary care. The next step in my journey is chemotherapy, which is expected to last several rounds over the coming weeks.

During this time, I will be unable to work, and without an income, it has become increasingly difficult to keep up with everyday expenses and financial responsibilities. Many family members and friends have asked how they can help, and while I truly appreciate the prayers and emotional support, I’ve been encouraged to share that financial assistance would be deeply appreciated.
