If you live in Hiawassee or anywhere in Towns County, chances are you know Carl Grizzle - or you’ve been helped by him at some point. Carl has been a steady, dependable presence in our community for years. Whether it was fixing a water line or lending a hand during tough times, Carl never hesitated to show up for others.

Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

Carl is facing one of the biggest challenges of his life. He will soon undergo a craniotomy to remove a large mass from his brain - an intense and invasive surgery that will keep him out of work for at least 6 to 8 weeks, possibly longer. As the sole provider for his family, this news has placed a heavy burden on the Grizzle household.

While Carl focuses on healing, we want to help lift some of the weight from his shoulders. Funds raised will go directly toward everyday living expenses and the medical costs that come with such a serious procedure.

Carl has given so much to our community - his time, his talents, and his heart. Now, we have the chance to give back. Whether it’s $5 or $50, every single donation makes a difference.
