Support Cari's Kidney Transplant Recovery

Donation protected
1/21/2025: Cari has been off of the ventilator for a few days now and is making progress. She still has a long way to go healing wise but is doing okay. She was able to stand and walk briefly with physical therapy and sat up in the chair for awhile. She will still be up at OSU for atleast a few more days and then depending on her progress, she may go home or go to a skilled therapy facility for some more intense physical therapy if needed. Thank you to everyone who has been thinking about and praying for her. And thank you as well to everyone who has donated to the Gofundme so far. Cari is still very much in need of a kidney transplant but was in the middle of trying to switch transplant centers before this all happened recently. Once she has some time to heal and figure things out a little more, we will see which center she plans to use (likely Cleveland Clinic). And then anyone who is interested in testing to see if they could be a match to donate their kidney to her, we can touch base and see what has to be done specifically when the time comes after a center is chosen. Anyone who would like to visit can get ahold of Aaron, myself or Kayla and we will try to let you know if/when a good time to visit would be and more information about where she is at. Thank you everyone and keep the good thoughts coming ❤️

UPDATE 1/7/2025: Cari is currently at OSU on a ventilator due to a fall that caused brain bleeding. She is still very much in need of a kidney transplant. Even if you are unable to donate, please send all the good thoughts and love her way. She really needs it.

Cari has been through a difficult journey with her health for many years. She has had numerous hospitalizations some lastings weeks, some months.
Cari is now in end stage renal failure awaiting kidney transplant. She is currently doing dialysis but continues to have to be off work very frequently due to complications and illness as her health declines further. Her transplant center is out of state and 3 hours away where she will be staying for atleast two weeks after the transplant. On top of housing costs while away, she will also have to pay for travel expenses and day to day costs while being off work. Anything helps, even if it's just a share of this post. Thank you!
