Support Cari's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hello! my name is Tracey and I'm a friend, fellow mom, and supporter of Cari! Just like many of you.

I know I'm not alone in continuing to think about how we as a community can support Cari on this journey to fight breast cancer. She has supported many of us as her family, her friends, her girl scouts, her co-workers, her teammates and so many others in our community on their own journeys, and it is time for us to rally together and support Cari in return!

For those who have not heard the news, Cari was recently diagnosed with Breast cancer BRCA2 (BReast CAncer gene 2). On January 15th, Cari will be undergoing a double mastectomy, reconstruction, LEEP, uterine biopsy and a D&C. After surgery, she will find out the pathology results (fingers crossed they come back clear.) The road after that is still uncertain, however the cost of all these procedures is a lot, and Cari’s insurance will not cover it all.

I'm asking you to join me in supporting Cari to help pay the large medical bills that have already started coming in and will continue to amass for a while. While we can't take away the stress, fear, and anxiety the cancer diagnosis causes her, we can help ease the stress around the financial burden.
