Our beloved friend Carie needs our support.

Carie will soon undergo multiple brain surgeries to address a decades-old head injury that left her with dystonia—a neurological condition that causes severe tremors in her arms and neck. Over time, her condition has worsened, making it increasingly difficult to manage daily tasks and continue her work as an interior designer.

As many of you know, Carie is not only one of the most creative people we know, but also a loyal and loving friend, always giving her heart generously and lifting others with kindness. She’s a devoted mom to Oliver and a talented designer who brings beauty into the world. Despite the pain and limitations she’s been living with, she continues to face each day with incredible grace and courage, true to her nature.

This next chapter will be especially challenging. As a small business owner and mother to a child with special needs, Carie will need to step away from work for 6 to 8 months to focus on recovery, which will include intensive therapies and in-home care.
