My name is Abel, and I am the proud owner of Cariblue Restaurant in Modesto, California.

In 2024, I took a leap of faith and relocated my restaurant from Redwood City to Modesto with the hope of bringing our Caribbean cuisine to a new community. We were incredibly honored when Cariblue was recognized by the Modesto Bee as a Readers’ Favorite in 2024. The support we’ve received has meant the world to us.

Unfortunately, despite that recognition, this year has brought unexpected financial challenges. Like many small businesses, we’ve fallen behind on expenses and are now facing the difficult reality of struggling to keep our doors open.

Today, I’m asking for your help. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward catching up on overdue bills, paying operating expenses, and helping us stay open so we can continue serving the community we love.
