My name is Carah Sanders, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family as we work to get back on our feet. Recently, what was supposed to be a minor surgery turned into a life-threatening emergency. A sudden complication forced doctors to perform an unexpected emergency C-section due to me losing almost 2 liters of blood in under 60 seconds. Thanks to their quick action, both my daughter and I are alive today — something I will forever be grateful for.

However, the situation took a significant toll on our family. I was unable to work for three weeks due to the emergency delivery and recovery — time we hadn’t planned for emotionally or financially. My husband has been working tirelessly to balance everything and keep us afloat the best he can. With bills continuing to pile up and a newborn to care for, we’re just struggling to catch up.
