Support Cara Sullivan's Stroke Recovery

My name is Heather Truchelut, and I'm Cara's friend and NP colleague at Hackensack University Medical Center. I am starting this GoFundMe with her family's blessing.

As you may know, Cara has been suffering with seizures for some time. On Wednesday, September 4, 2024, Cara underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor which had been growing in size. One of the worst risks involved with her surgery unfortunately occurred when Cara suffered an intra-operative stroke, which resulted in left-sided paralysis affecting her speech and motor skills.

Cara's journey in the next few months will involve much rehabilitation. This will undoubtedly cause a financial strain for Cara, her husband, and their two small children. Please consider donating to their family to help offset some of the medical costs associated with Cara's health journey ahead. All proceeds will go directly to Cara Sullivan's family.
