Once again, TEAM CARA, I am coming to ask for help.

My mom is fighting the hardest battle of her life, stage 4 metastatic melanoma.

She has already endured so much. Surgeries. Treatments. Endless appointments. Through it all, she has stayed strong in ways I can't even put into words. But now, after everything she's been through, we've been hit with something we didn't expect.

She has nearly lost her hearing in both ears.

It's heartbreaking. After fighting so hard to stay here with us, she now struggles to hear our voices, our laughter, even simple conversations. Something so basic, being able to connect with the people she loves, has been taken from her too.

The hearing aids she needs cost $7,400, and even though the loss was cancer-related, her healthcare is not covering any cost. It's an amount she simply cannot manage on top of everything else that comes with cancer treatment and daily life.

Once again, I'm asking for help, something we don't do easily. But this isn't about anything except giving my mom a piece of her life back. Giving her the ability to hear again. To feel connected. To not feel isolated in a time when she needs love and support the most.
